Special Drawing for Ticket to September 25 Central Park Papal Procession as a "Thank You" to Charis NYC Retreatants
To Enter, Retreatants Must Register for Still+Silent Retreat by Wednesday, Sept. 23 at 11:59 PM
NEW YORK -- Charis NYC, a ministry which presents Ignatian spirituality retreats in the Jesuit tradition by and for Catholic young adults of New York City, celebrates with great joy the visit of Pope Francis, to New York. The Holy Father is a source of great inspiration to our young adult leaders who strive to help our fellow young adults #FindYourGrace.
So, as a "thank you" to Charis NYC retreatants attending our brand-new Still+Silent Retreat, the ministry is holding a special drawing for a ticket to the Central Park Papal Procession taking place on Friday, September 25, on Central Park's West Drive between 72nd and 60th Streets.
To enter the drawing, Still+Silent retreatants must register no later than Wednesday, September 23 at 11:59 PM. Still+Silent is a brand-new retreat that introduces Catholics in their 20s-30s to the silent retreat, and other, various forms of meditative prayer.
On the morning of Thursday, September 24, Charis NYC will randomly draw a name from the eligible registrations for the one (1) ticket. The winning entry will be notified by phone and email before Thursday, September 24 at 11:00 AM. Non-winning entries will be notified by email.
The one (1) ticket to the Central Papal Procession is a digital PDF with specific information about which entrance to use, and where to enter. Check-in will begin at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 25th and close at 3:30 PM. Guests are encouraged to arrive early and allow ample time to pass through security.
You will be the guest of a Charis NYC team member, though you may attend separately if you wish. There are a few of us from Charis NYC, and we'd love to have you join us in prayer and celebration on the Holy Father's historic procession.

About Charis NYC
CHARIS NYC is a ministry which presents Ignatian spirituality retreats in the Jesuit tradition by and for Catholic young adults of New York City. Since its founding in 2011, it has emerged as a leader in connecting participants to a vibrant 20s-30s Catholic community and fostering a closer relationship with God, through the Seekers Retreat and What Next? In 2015, the ministry introduces a third, brand-new retreat, the Still+Silent Retreat, developed and presented by the Charis NYC team. The ministry counts over 200 “alumni” from its retreats, with retreatants and ministers hailing from a diverse set of NYC parishes, groups, and organizations.
